• On August 13, 2018 the website for GQ  Magazine, gq.com has an article titled Star Trek 4 Might Lose Its Chris(es) and It's a Damn Shame  by Joshua Rivera  , the article tells about how Chris Pine & Chris Hemsworth might walk away from the next Trek Film, and this article says "  

  "J.J. Abrams's 2009 reboot of Star Trek remains, to this day, a damn delight, and a big reason why comes down to Chris Pine's performance as James T. Kirk, the man destined to be the captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise. In Trek, Kirk is a career delinquent with a genius IQ who mostly uses it to take failed passes at Zoe Saldana and get his ass kicked in bars and—once he gets said ass into space—across the galaxy until he lands squarely in the captain's chair. It's incredibly fun to watch, because Pine is, as we all know, absurdly handsome, and remains handsome even while getting punched. Chris Pine's Captain Kirk is a guy who grins through an ass-whuppin', not because he knows he can win, but because he knows that, if he waits long enough, the other guy will be even dumber than him.
